Job Description

We’re hiring a Senior QA Automation Engineer at Making Science | Sweeft. You’ll lead testing efforts, build automation frameworks (Python, Selenium, Pytest), and ensure high software quality across web and API layers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute both manual and automated tests across web and API layers
• Lead testing efforts and collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze complex requirements
• Develop and maintain robust automation frameworks using Python, Selenium, Pytest, and Allure
• Create detailed test documentation: test cases, checklists, diagrams, and decision tables
• Perform thorough API testing using tools like Postman, Swagger, and Python’s Requests library
• Work with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git/Bitbucket), and container technologies (Docker)
• Validate structured data using SQL and perform database verification
• Ensure traceability and coverage using tools like TestRail, Qase.io, or Zephyr
• Actively contribute to root cause analysis (RCA) and participate in cloud-related debugging (GCP/AWS)
• Report bugs with clarity and ensure actionable feedback through high-quality reporting
• Champion best practices and suggest initiatives to improve software quality across teams

What We’re Looking For:

• 4+ years of experience in QA Automation, including a strong foundation in manual testing
• Proficiency in Python and test automation frameworks
• Strong knowledge of software testing theory, SDLC, and QA’s role within Agile processes
• Hands-on experience with issue tracking (Jira) and test management systems
• Working knowledge of CI/CD practices, GIT, and container-based infrastructure
• SQL skills and experience querying relational databases
• Familiarity with cloud environments such as GCP or AWS (GCP preferred)
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset
• Fluency in design patterns relevant to testing and automation frameworks
