Job Description

We’re looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Middle-Senior Manual QA Engineer to join our QA team at Making Science | Sweeft. As a QA Engineer, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products by planning, executing, and maintaining manual test cases. You will collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product teams to ensure high-quality delivery and an exceptional user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze product requirements and collaborate with stakeholders to define test strategies and test plans.
• Design, write, and execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications.
• Identify, record, document, and track bugs thoroughly.
• Perform functional, regression, exploratory, and UI testing.
• Verify fixes and support release testing cycles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Contribute to test documentation and knowledge sharing within the QA team.
• Help improve QA processes and suggest enhancements to workflows.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience as a Manual QA Engineer.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
• Experience testing web and mobile applications across multiple platforms.
• Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
• Ability to create clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and reports.
• Experience with exploratory and regression testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
• Experience working with APIs (using Postman or similar tools).
• Understanding of test automation principles or experience with any test automation tools is a plus.
• Exposure to CI/CD environments and version control tools (e.g., Git).
